God Is Just

November 15th 2009, God woke me up early in the morning and I heard the words “God is Just”. I sought the Lord and starting praying about this, and then He led me to research “God’s Justice in His word. There was a mandate in my heart and spirit to fully understand the difference between God’s justice and man’s justice. I knew in my spirit that God was giving me an assignment to truly understand and write about what God’s justice is. I found that God’s justice is much different than man’s justice. Many times we think justice is what is fair and even, many of us associate justice with what happens in a courtroom, but that type of justice, man’s justice, is so far from God’s justice. His justice is true, pure, full of love and perfect. God’s justice brings solutions, repentance and a permanent change.

God is an exact standard of what is right and proper. He is full of sound judgment and reason. He established the law and is in harmony with the law. He is all that is original, correct, upright and good. He is not partial or biased, treating all equally. He shows a strict regard for what is morally correct. His justice is exact and precise, free from self-interest, prejudice or favoritism. He deals fairly with all concerned and His justice is always valid and objective. His justice is full of divine moral law.

The Word of God is full of examples of the His justice! If you are facing something in your life right now that seams unfair and unjust, then stand on these verses and know that the God of justice will stand for you!

Psalms 9:8
He will judge the world with justice and the nations with fairness

Psalms 36:6
Your justice is like the depths of the ocean

Psalms 103:6
The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly

Isaiah
61:8 For I, the Lord, love justice

Deuteronomy 16:20
Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the LORD your God is giving you.

When you truly understand God’s justice then you can truly have more peace and a deeper sense of security and trust in God. God’s justice brings about a permanent change and you can be at peace knowing that God’s justice is THE solution to your problem and you can trust in Him to bring it to pass.

A prayer for Justice:
Father God I release the “care” of this “unjust” situation in my life to you right now in Jesus Name. I trust in You and I will follow justice and justice alone, so that I may live and posses the land that you are giving me! Thank you for loving justice and performing Your Word in my life! Amen!

Peace to you
